Onsite
The Inventory Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day duties of inventory and materials for shop operations. This position will report directly to the Inventory Controller and assist trade support groups as required to the highest quality standards.

DAY IN THE LIFE:
Picking and packing, preparing orders daily
Receive and sort buy-out materials
Load and unload freight and materials as instructed
Unpack, code, and route goods to appropriate storage areas
Work on the EPR system utilizing SAP
Maintain internal, manual, or computerized inventory cycle count
Operate forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods
General warehouse maintenance, such as cleaning and organization
Participate in all safety meetings and assist with identifying workplace hazards
Various other duties as required
Overtime as required
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
A High school diploma is required
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail with numbers
Forklift experience is an asset, though training will be provided to the right candidate
Must be willing to work in safety safety-conscious environment
Must be motivated and have good communication skills, have a positive attitude, and be able to work well in a collaborative setting as well as on their own
