About the Role
The Department of Education is seeking an experienced International Communications Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role will play a key part in developing engaging, SEO-optimized content for various platforms, supporting marketing strategies.
The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, be able to independently research story topics, and incorporate optimizing content for search engine visibility and user engagement. They will also be confident in managing communication projects, collaborating with key stakeholders, and contributing to marketing activities such as media relations, events, and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop content to promote key International Student Program (ISP) products and services.
Write and edit communications and marketing materials such as publications, e-newsletters, online content, advertisements, speeches, media releases, briefing notes, and correspondence.
Support program and campaign promotions for Homestay host recruitment, Study Tours, and Offshore (Recognised) schools and other initiatives.
Consult with internal and external clients to create and advise on communication strategies.
Participate in strategic planning to meet the department's marketing and communications objectives.
This is a Temporary Part-time position until 28 March 2025, then Full-time hours available.
