Job Description
As an Interior Project Planner, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the planning and execution of interior design projects. You will collaborate with clients, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction. Your role will involve coordinating various project activities, managing resources, and maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning:
Collaborate with clients to understand project objectives, requirements, and constraints.
Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with designers and other professionals to create detailed project specifications.
Define project milestones and deliverables.
Resource Management:
Identify and allocate the necessary resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, for each project.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure required materials and furnishings.
Manage and track resource usage, ensuring optimal allocation and cost-effectiveness.
Anticipate and resolve resource constraints or conflicts that may arise during the project.
Project Execution:
Monitor project progress, track milestones, and manage any changes or deviations from the original plan.
Client Communication:
Provide regular updates on project status, progress, and milestones.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams, including designers, architects, engineers, and contractors, to facilitate smooth project.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in project planning and management within the interior design or construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of interior design principles, materials, and construction techniques.
Familiarity with relevant design software and project management tools.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, team members, and external stakeholders.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
