• Job Overview:
• Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, functional needs, and budget constraints.
- Develop interior design concepts that align with client requirements, incorporating innovative furniture solutions to optimize space utilization and aesthetics.
- Prepare detailed furniture material and its finish specifications, alignment, layouts, mood boards, and 3D renderings to present design proposals effectively.
- Source furniture pieces from vendors, considering factors such as style, quality, price, and lead times.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of furniture installation, placement and after sale services.
- Flexibility to travel at vendor’s manufacturing facility, client’s project location, exhibitions which can be outstation.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and correspondence, to facilitate project tracking and communication.
• Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design or a related field.
- Proven experience of 3+ years working as an Interior Designer, with a focus on furniture design and selection.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools.
- Strong knowledge of furniture styles, materials, construction techniques, and vendors.
- Creative problem-solving abilities, Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and requirements effectively to clients and team members.
- Portfolio showcasing previous interior design projects, with a focus on furniture design and selection.
- Experience working with sustainable and eco-friendly furniture materials and practices.
- Experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and client relationship management.
