Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and creative Interior Designer with strong 2D drawing skills to join our team at Mauve Interio. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, excellent technical skills, and the ability to bring creative concepts to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 2D drawings and plans for interior design projects.
- Develop and present design concepts that meet client requirements and align with company standards.
- Collaborate with the design team to refine and finalize design plans.
Client Interaction:
- Meet with clients to discuss their design preferences, needs, and budget constraints.
- Present design proposals and make revisions based on client feedback.
- Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the design process.
Material and Resource Selection:
- Select appropriate materials, furnishings, and color palettes for projects.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and furnishings.
- Ensure that all selections meet project specifications and budget requirements.
Project Coordination:
- Work closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure smooth execution of design plans.
- Conduct site visits to ensure design integrity and project progress.
- Address any design-related issues or challenges that arise during the project.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all design work meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to incorporate into designs.
- Maintain a portfolio of completed projects and design concepts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in interior design with a strong emphasis on 2D drawing.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
- Excellent technical drawing and drafting skills.
- Strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
