Job Description
Whittlework is a leading innovator in handcrafted textures, redefining material surfaces through design and advanced technology. Our unique texturing solutions are inspired by traditional craftsmanship and applied to modern interiors, creating bespoke design experiences.
We are looking for a passionate Interior Designer execute the design as per customer requirements and manage client communications, develop tailored design solutions, and oversee in house project execution. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics, strong management skills, and expertise in 3D CAD tools and rendering to bring our textured surfaces to life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Client Interaction & Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their design needs and preferences, offering solutions from our range of handcrafted textures.
• Design Concept Development: Create and present mood boards, sketches, and 3D visualizations to effectively showcase design proposals.
• 3D CAD Modeling & Rendering: Develop detailed 3D models and high-quality renders to help clients visualize their customized interior designs.
• Project Management: Oversee design projects from concept to execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with fabricators, architects, and craftsmen to ensure the seamless integration of our textures into interior spaces.
• Material & Texture Selection: Guide customers in choosing textures, materials, and finishes that align with their vision.
• Design Presentation & Approval: Prepare detailed presentations and client reports for design approvals.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• project management experience in interior design is plus.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Rhino, SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar) and rendering tools like V-Ray, KeyShot, or Blender.
• Strong communication and client-handling skills.
• Experience in luxury interiors, bespoke design, or material surfaces is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, design-driven environment with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of furniture, material finishes, and contemporary design trends.
