• Job Description:
As an Interior Design Intern at INDREM DESIGNS, you will have the chance to learn and grow within the field of interior design. This internship is designed to provide you with practical experience and exposure to various aspects of interior design. You will work closely with our team of designers on real projects, assisting with tasks that contribute to the success of our design projects. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Concept Development: Collaborate with senior designers to brainstorm and develop creative design concepts based on client needs and project goals.
2. Space Planning: Assist in creating detailed space plans, layouts, and furniture arrangements to optimize the functionality and flow of interior spaces.
3. Material and Finish Selection: Research and source materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the project's design concept and budget.
4. CAD Drafting: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings.
5. Client Presentations: Participate in client meetings and presentations, helping to communicate design ideas and solutions effectively.
6. Project Documentation: Assist in preparing design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules.
7. Site Visits: Accompany senior designers on site visits to gain insights into project progress and construction processes.
8. Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technologies to contribute fresh ideas to our projects.
• Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Strong passion for interior design and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in the field.
