Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Instrumentation Engineer role based in Hosur. The Instrumentation Engineer will design, install, and maintain instrumentation systems for process plants, ensuring accurate measurement and control of critical parameters. Responsibilities include monitoring process control systems, performing routine inspections, troubleshooting instrumentation and electrical issues, and coordinating calibration activities for sensors, transmitters, and control equipment. The role involves collaborating with operations, maintenance, and electrical teams to improve system reliability, optimize performance, and support safe, continuous plant operations. The engineer will also assist in documentation, compliance with industry standards, and implementation of upgrades or modifications to instrumentation and control systems.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Instrumentation and Process Control for industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Calibration of field instruments, sensors, and control devices.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles related to instrumentation and control systems.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with industrial safety practices, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.
• Experience in steel, cement, or heavy process industries is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively on-site in a plant environment.
