This role requires a highly motivated individual with a strong background in instrumentation and controls engineering. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Responsibilities include real-time plant operational support, facility and integrated systems troubleshooting, design correction analysis, technician direction, and participation with rocket engine test data and controls systems setups, process verifications, instrumentation and pre-run systems calibrations, data processing and post-test data validity reviews. Additionally, qualified candidates must be knowledgeable of electrical/electronic principles and should have experience with emphasis on the following:
LabVIEW data acquisition and controls programming and associated industrial project applications
Hands-on development, integration, operation and troubleshooting of instrumentation, controls systems, and controls equipment
HMI Graphical Programming
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) - Hardware, Software, and programming
Computer networking and industrial communication protocols
Pneumatic valves and control hardware, systems, and applications
Sensor circuits including but not limited to pressure, temperature, flow, vibration, proximity and force measurement
Instrumentation and acquisition hardware specification and procurement
