Key Responsibilities
• Teach instrumental music to students across various age groups (primary to senior school).
• Conduct individual and group classes focusing on technique, theory, and performance.
• Train and prepare students for school events, competitions, and concerts.
• Organize and direct school orchestras, bands, or ensembles.
• Identify musically talented students and guide them for specialized training.
• Maintain and manage the school’s musical instruments and equipment.
• Encourage creativity, musical expression, and appreciation for different music genres.
• Collaborate with other performing arts teachers for integrated performances.
• Stay updated with modern teaching methodologies and musical trends.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Music or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proficiency in playing one or more instruments (keyboard, guitar, violin, drums, flute, etc.).
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience teaching instrumental music in a school or academy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and engage students with varied musical backgrounds.
• Experience in organizing musical productions and live performances is a plus.
