Position Description
The Installer / Finish Carpenter plays an important role in completing residential and commercial projects. This position requires strong carpentry skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Install cabinetry, flooring, tile, doors, hardware, trim, and custom millwork.
Review project plans, layouts, and specifications with the design staff as needed.
Communicate with project managers and design team regarding project progress and material needs.
Ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction on every project.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
Perform finish carpentry and millwork with a high level of craftsmanship.
Properly use and maintain company tools and equipment.
Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials to job sites.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in finish carpentry, millwork, cabinetry, or related trades.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and design plans.
Reliable, self-motivated, and customer-service focused.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs and perform construction-related physical tasks.
Must pass a criminal background check.
Additional Skills & Experience
Skilled with tools such as table saws, tile saws, routers, planers, nail guns, and other carpentry equipment.
Experience with tile installation, cabinet installation, molding and trim work, painting, staining, and finishing.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing job-site conditions.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Journeyman-level carpentry or millwork experience.
Experience in residential remodeling and custom interior installations.
Broad knowledge of interior finish materials and installation methods.
Compensation & Schedule
Full-Time 80 Hours Per Pay Period
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Compensation based on education and experience.
