About the Role
Reporting to the Service Lead Work Health and Safety, this role is pivotal in supporting our employees’ health and wellbeing through driving proactive wellbeing initiatives and effective injury management and return to work programs.
About you
We are looking for a proactive and experienced professional who is passionate about early intervention, employee wellbeing and promoting a strong, positive safety culture. You will bring a solutions focused approach, applying effective processes to support injured workers throughout their recovery journey.
You consider yourself approachable, highly organised and skilled in managing your time effectively.
Besides demonstrated experience, you’ll need to have:
Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation legislation, claims processes and rehabilitation procedures
Injury management and return to work coordination within a medium to large organisation
Completion of Injury Management and Return To Work Coordinator (BSBWHS417 - Assist with managing WHS implications of return to work)
Exposure to the development and coordination of proactive employee wellbeing programs
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with employees, medical practitioners, insurers and leaders
A minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivelant qualification.

Salary and Benefits: Starting from Level 6 Step 1 ($101,353) City of Cockburn Industrial Agreement 2025, based on qualifications and experience.
