Role Description
The Java Developer will be part of Cyber Hygiene team and responsible for resolve the development team incidents or issues about upload code to Veracode SAST platform. The Engineer works independently across teams to access hosted application, debug, maintain environment at on-premise. Comply with policies and standards in the bank. Java developer must have knowledge about secure coding practices.
• Understanding of java application log files and debug issue for business application
• Providing guidance to business application teams and operations personnel on the DevOps integration processes and best practices
• Java application feature upgrades and bug fixes according to requirement
• MS SQL server database: Data retrieval from database, execute/update queries in database, SQL server expertise
• DevSecOps implementation support
• Interested to learn application security skill sets and GCP platform exposure
• Tracking of all project deliverables through JIRA
• Incorporated cybersecurity best practices for technology governance over privileged account lifecycles

Your skills and experience
• Experience building scripts (e.g. shell, python etc), tooling, and automation for computing environments
• Knowledge of virtual environment
• Knowledge of the following technologies: JavaScript, Java, JSON, RESTful APIs
• Good knowledge of automation tool development for internal use
• Agile Development practices through JIRA tool and ITIL concepts
• Experience on confluence tool for creating support documentation
• Cloud platform exposure - Azure and GCP
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience and with executive levels.
• Experience working with virtual and global teams / Intercultural awareness
Good sound knowledge on Java and DevOps
• Must have at 4-6 years hands on experience in Java web application development / support and devops tools integration support
• Experience in Windows, Unix, Databases (Oracle / MSSQL / PostgreSQL) on-boarding and password management
• Experience of Cloud Platform on-boarding (Application/Resources/Roles/Compute Engine/ETC - Azure and Google Cloud Platform
• Experience on JIRA and Agile methodology for project deployment
• Experience on databases like Oracle and MS-SQL
• Experience in IT in large corporate environments, specifically in controlled production environments or in Financial Services Technology in a client-facing function
• SDLC best practice service context
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in virtual teams and in matrix structures
