In this role successful individual will engineer, design & implement new infrastructure solutions, tune the environment for optimized performance, responsible to produce quality and high-performance web applications infrastructure. Provide technical expertise to other team members, interact with global team, create an upgrade path for vendor products, produce high quality documentation, interact with IT Security and development teams, design and implement infrastructure management processes
What will you be doing?
INFRASTRUCTURE BUILD AS PER NEW BUSINESS PROJECTS AND SUSTAINING PROJECTS
Convert business requirements to system requirements
Build infrastructure as per business requirements for DEV/UAT and Production env.
INFRASTRUCTURE CAPACITY AND EFFICIENCY PLANNING
Ways to automate and centralize and consolidate
Review of existing environments for potential impact, due to changes going into global infrastructure.
Reduce complexity in existing environment.
PROACTIVELY REDUCE DOWNTIME
Analysis of system performance, health, availability and stability of portal infrastructure
Performance, monitoring and availability using tools, recommendations to improve performance.
Provide comments/suggestions/recommendations back to developers
CHANGE MANAGEMENT
Communicate application changes to end-users/L1/L2 support teams and create/co-ordinate change tickets
Verify/Schedule application test after change implementation
Update documentation for knowledge management and knowledge transition to L1/L2 teams
Should be familiar with ITIL/Agile/SDLC methodology.
Follow firm’s policies and procedures around change management and regulatory requirements
