Alten Ltd is looking for an IT Technician to join our team in Derby. This is a fantastic chance to join a fast-growing company with strong core values of; Excellence, Accountability, Integrity and Service.
Job Purpose:
Support the Service Desk activity and participate in the deployment of the Alten IT strategy in the UK.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Communicating with users to find and fix problems.
• Creating documentation, guides and processes.
• Servicing and fixing IT equipment, including printers, projectors and networks.
• Setting up new equipment and upgrading existing systems.
• Setting up new users accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.
• Managing IT assets and mobile fleet.
Experience required:
• BTEC in IT or equivalent. BSc could be considered.
• Skills as first line support helping users with common IT issues hardware, software.
• Maintaining IT equipment : laptops, printers, phones, TVs.
• Managing IT accounts using Active Directory and Entra ID, use of Exchange, Intune.
