Responsibilities:
- Objective of the Job:
As part of Mercedes-Benz IT Organization, this role is responsible for anchoring IT topics related to business functions – Retail Sales, Wholesale, Business Development Centre, Vehicle Logistics and Finance.
As an excellent influencer, you will manage all relationships between business product owners, regional/global counterparts and external suppliers to ensure smooth running of all applications and delivery of planned projects.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- IT Portfolio management
- Manage IT solutions portfolio in the domain of Analytics, Online Business, Marketing and Common functions
- Together with key stakeholder define IT Portfolio and realization plans
- Discuss and qualify business requirement for IT
- Conceptualize solutions to be built to address business requirement Contribute to/lead business innovation topics
- Vendor & Communication Management
- Tracking and managing multiple vendors (including internal Daimler teams) to ensure delivery quality is as expected, on time and on cost
- Managing communication & expectation management of teams such as business unit, senior management, IT staff and vendor employees.
- IT Application Landscape Management & Operations
- Ensure smooth operations of existing IT landscape
- Responsible for governance & cost management of existing IT landscape
- Ensure integrity of overall landscape while bringing in new application
- Innovation Hub
- Explore technological opportunities across industries and evaluate fitment into MB India
- Complete Proof of Concepts to evaluate the business value of innovation ideas.
- Project Execution
- Driving the successful execution of IT projects, ensuring projects follow standard Daimler methodologies and processes and adhere to agreed governance and compliance requirements. This includes managing project scope, budget, timelines, change requests, procurement and reporting for all IT components of delivery.
