Information Security Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Operations Specialist to join our team on a 3-month contract basis in a Government Department. This role offers the opportunity to work with a tight-knit group of professionals in a dynamic environment.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience monitoring and analysing security incidents, investigating and escalating incidents as necessary, and regularly reviewing and managing client mail quarantine lists. They will also be proficient in vulnerability scanning, threat management, and escalation. Additionally, they should have expertise in performing security checks using Rapid7 tools and investigating security-related service requests submitted by users in ServiceNow.

About You:

You will need a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, along with experience in security incident response and threat detection. Proficiency in Splunk, Azure, and Rapid7 is also essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities are required. Read more
