Job Description – Watch Designer Rotoris
About Rotoris
Rotoris is an emerging premium watch brand focused on creating distinctive, high-quality timepieces with a strong design identity. We aim to blend modern aesthetics with precision craftsmanship.
Role: Watch Designer / Product Designer (Timepieces)
We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Watch Designer who understands the nuances of watch design — from dial aesthetics to case construction.
Preference will be given to candidates with a background in watch design or horology. However, candidates with strong relevant product design experience and a compelling portfolio will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
• Design watch dials, cases, straps, and overall product concepts
• Develop 2D sketches and 3D models for production
• Work on design ideation, mood boards, and brand-aligned concepts
• Ensure designs are manufacturable and aligned with industry standards
• Collaborate with vendors/manufacturers for design execution
• Stay updated with global watch trends, materials, and innovations
✅ Requirements
• Background in Watch Design / Industrial Design / Product Design
• Preferred: Experience in watch industry / timepiece design
• Alternatively: Strong experience in relevant product design (luxury/accessories)
• Proficiency in tools like:
• SolidWorks / Rhino / Fusion 360
• KeyShot / Blender (for rendering)
• Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Strong understanding of:
• Dial layout, case proportions, materials, finishing
• Ability to translate ideas into production-ready designs
Preferred Background
• Candidates from NIFT / NID / Industrial Design institutes
• Prior work with watch brands / accessories / luxury products

• Attention to detail & premium design sense
• Passion for watches & understanding of the category
