A minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen preferably with large production volume
Knowledge of ingredients, measuringtechniques, mixing methods, kitchen equipment, and cooking times
Must have flexibility to work various shifts according to business needs

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook items according to specification and recipes
Ensure that all dishes served meet the DO&CO standard
Act as a role model while taking part in service - preparing and cooking Indian dishes
Monitor wastage and complete assigned tasks on multiple stations within the given time to meet strict deadlines
Always keep the immediate work area clean and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook
Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team

We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, high energy and passionate Indian Cuisine Cook to join our New York Kitchen.

We have a passion for hospitality culinary delights on every banquet floor and in the sky. With the three business segments of Airline Catering, International Event Catering, and Restaurants, Lounges & Hotels, DO & CO offers gourmet entertainment all over the world. We operate in 32 locations, 12 countries and 3 continents, maintaining the highest standard of quality in both our products and services. We refine the classics, develop the unknown and grow constantly, and beyond our own expectations.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook items according to specification and recipes.
• Ensure that all dishes served meet the DO&CO standard.
• Act as a role model while taking part in service - preparing and cooking Indian dishes.
• Monitor wastage and complete assigned tasks on multiple stations within the given time to meet strict deadlines.
• Always keep the immediate work area clean and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook.
• Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team
