The Import–Export & Banking Executive manages the full lifecycle of international trade, from logistics and customs to financial settlement and regulatory bank compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Operations
• End-to-End Operations: Manage all import/export shipments, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
• Documentation: Prepare and review invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, COO, and Insurance.
• Coordination: Liaison with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and transporters for smooth clearance.
• Costing: Calculate duties, taxes, and landed costs; resolve shipment delays or damages.
Banking & Finance
• Remittances: Execute inward/outward remittances and reconcile payments with AD banks.
• BRC Management: Handle EDPMS/IDPMS portals to ensure shipping bill closure and e-BRC issuance for export incentives.
• Trade Finance: Manage Letters of Credit (LC) and Bank Guarantees, ensuring documentation aligns with UCPDC 600.
• Compliance: Ensure all transactions adhere to FEMA guidelines and central bank trade regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Experience: 3–5 years in EXIM operations and trade finance.
• Knowledge: Proficient in INCOTERMS, HS codes, Customs procedures, and RBI/FEMA regulations.
• Technical: Proficiency in MS Office and banking portals (EDPMS/IDPMS).
• Competency: Strong analytical skills for reconciling shipping data with financial credits.
