Additional Information:
These roles are Permanent Part-time, 50-60hrs/fortnight

As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
This role requires availability to work store operating hours as listed below:
o Sunday to Wednesday 7:30am to 7:30pm
o Thursday to Saturday 7:30am to 9:30pm
About this work area

As an IKEA Food Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Commercial:
Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
Food preparation and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels.
Clearing tables, wiping down benchtops and stocktake.
Active selling, cash handling and customer service.

Operations:
Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience.
Food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods.
Processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines whilst supporting and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer restaurant.
Active selling, cash handling, operation of ovens & fryers.
Who you are

As an IKEA Food Co-worker you are:
Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation.
Experienced with working in a fast paced, hands-on environment. Previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded.
Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people.
Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks.
