IB PYP English Teacher - IB Certified -

Our current partner schools in Jaipur are seeking passionate, IB PYP-certified English teachers to lead inquiry-based learning, foster bilingual literacy, and cultivate critical thinking in early years to grade 5 classrooms—within a globally recognized curriculum framework. Role & Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered English lessons aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) transdisciplinary themes and assessment criteria.
• Design and implement inquiry-based units that integrate reading, writing, speaking, and listening across subject areas.
• Assess student progress using IB PYP portfolio-based, formative, and summative assessments—and provide actionable feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with homeroom and specialist teachers to co-plan interdisciplinary units and ensure consistent language development across the curriculum.
• Integrate technology and differentiated instruction strategies to support diverse learners and promote digital literacy in alignment with IB’s Approaches to Learning (ATL).
• Maintain strong home-school communication through learning journals, exhibitions, and parent-teacher conferences.

Skills & Qualifications
• Must-Have
• IB PYP Certification (official IB certificate or completion of IB Educator Training)
• Experience teaching English Language Arts in IB PYP schools (minimum 2 years preferred)
• Proficiency in backward design and concept-based curriculum planning
• Experience with IB PYP assessment tools: portfolio assessment, rubrics, learner profiles
• Strong classroom management and differentiation strategies for grades 1–5
• Fluency in English (written and oral) with clear, engaging instructional delivery
• Preferred
• Experience teaching in Indian IB schools or multilingual classrooms
• Knowledge of IB MYP transition strategies for Grade 5 students
• Experience using digital tools like Seesaw, Google Classroom, or ManageBac for documentation and collaboration
