Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hvac And Utility Validation Engineer role based in Indore, India. The role involves planning and executing validation activities for HVAC systems and utilities in line with regulatory and client requirements, including drafting and reviewing validation protocols, test scripts, and reports. The engineer will perform system qualifications, conduct performance checks, and document results to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with project teams, facility management, and quality assurance to resolve technical issues, support audits, and implement corrective and preventive actions. The role also includes maintaining validation documentation, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and providing technical guidance to stakeholders on HVAC and utility systems.
Qualifications
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and utilities (e.g., compressed air, purified water, steam) and their validation in regulated environments.
• Experience with validation lifecycle activities, including URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, and preparation of related documentation.
• Understanding of GMP, GEP, and relevant regulatory guidelines (such as FDA, EU, and WHO) applicable to facility and utility qualification.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and perform risk assessments related to HVAC and utilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and use of common office and engineering software tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline.
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or similar regulated industry environments is highly beneficial.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site in cross-functional teams.
