Job Description

The HR Representative will influence and manage all areas of the employee lifecycle. This entry level generalist role is responsible for establishing and maintaining the Apertures employee experience. This role will assist and support the Apertures HR team with various day-to-day tasks, provide administrative support, and respond to inquiries. This is a hybrid opportunity located within commutable distance to the Cary, NC headquarters.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead onboarding process, perform orientations, and develop and cultivate relationships with new team members to help attract and retain candidates
• Manage off-boarding, including facilitating return of company assets and property, IT changes, explaining payroll/benefit implications, and conducting exit interviews
• Facilitates changes in Dayforce (HRIS) and Payroll, as needed. Including creating documentation for internal promotions and job changes
• Monitors and maintains data accuracy and integrity in applicant tracking system and HRIS
• Understands and utilizes HRIS system to assist with reporting on various workforce data and trends, etc. for the HR Manager and business leaders
• Partner with hiring managers, HR Managers, and Talent Acquisition on coordinating recruiting efforts; this includes validating proper approvals, attending intake meetings, providing recruiting updates, tracking, and reporting of open requisitions
• Act as a resource to both managers and team members by offering support and guidance regarding company policies, HR process, general communications, and best practices
• Coordinates information with the Apertures HR team to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
• Provide project management and administrative support, coordination, and planning efforts for local activities in office
• Logs all inquiries into a case management system
• Manage requests for LOA (FMLA, ADA, etc.) related activities
• Manages the organization and distribution of weekly, monthly and other ad-hoc reports as required
• Provides ad-hoc support and coverage for the Apertures HR team
• Maintains a high level of confidentiality when completing various administrative activities
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• BS/BA degree in Human Resources or related field
• 0-3 years of experience in HR
• Proficient in the use of a variety of standard business software programs, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and HRIS system
• Strong analytical capability
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Ability to organize and problem solve
• Ability to develop and maintain rapport with a wide variety of individuals
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Skill in interpersonal relationships with emphasis on relationship building
• Familiarity with HR systems and databases
• General knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
• Occasional travel required

• Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week. Union programs may vary depending on the collective bargaining agreement.
