About the Role
We are looking for an organized, responsible, and hands-on Human Resources & Administration Manager to manage recruitment and people operations across three founder-led businesses: BNN Family Law Firm, Roots & Us, and Kanasu.
The primary focus of this role will be hiring, employee onboarding, attendance and leave administration, company policies, payroll preparation, employee documentation, and vendor-payment coordination.
The person will work closely with the founders and managers to ensure that the right people are hired, employees understand and follow company policies, personnel records remain accurate, and monthly salary and vendor-payment information is properly prepared.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end recruitment across all three businesses, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, reference checks, offers, and joining.
• Identify suitable recruitment platforms and maintain an active pipeline for priority roles.
• Manage new-employee onboarding, including offer letters, NDAs, identification documents, emergency contacts, attendance registration, system access, and policy orientation.
• Create, maintain, communicate, and administer company policies relating to conduct, attendance, leave, holidays, confidentiality, communication, and ways of working.
• Track employee attendance, working days, hours, leave, holidays, late arrivals, and absences.
• Prepare monthly attendance and leave reports for the founders.
• Collect monthly performance updates from employees and coordinate with managers regarding performance, incentives, deductions, and salary inputs.
• Prepare the monthly salary plan and supporting records for founder approval and payment processing.
• Maintain organized and confidential employee files, contracts, acknowledgements, and HR records.
• Coordinate employee exits, final documentation, access removal, and handovers.
• Manage vendor onboarding documentation, including contact information, NDAs, service agreements, billing details, and payment records.
• Before vendor payments are processed, confirm with the relevant manager or founder that the agreed work has been completed satisfactorily.
• Ensure vendor invoices, approvals, deliverables, and payment details are properly documented.
• Provide accurate monthly HR, payroll, leave, recruitment, and vendor-payment reports to the founders.

• Timely preparation of monthly salary information
• Accuracy and completeness of vendor documentation and payment approvals
• Confidentiality, reliability, organization, and follow-through
Employees who consistently meet or exceed agreed monthly deliverables may receive additional performance incentives.
Required Skills
• Experience in recruitment, human resources, people operations, payroll coordination, or office administration
• Ability to manage recruitment from job posting through employee joining
• Strong interviewing, screening, communication, and documentation skills
• Good understanding of attendance, leave, onboarding, employee records, and HR processes
• Strong proficiency with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, recruitment platforms, and attendance systems
• Ability to prepare clear reports and maintain accurate records
• Ability to handle confidential employee and compensation information
• Strong communication skills in English and Kannada
• Ability to work independently and follow up until responsibilities are completed
• Professional, organized, fair, and accountable approach
Previous experience supporting multiple businesses, professional-services firms, startups, hospitality, healthcare, wellness, retail, or consumer brands is preferred.
Important
This is a hands-on HR and people-operations role. The person must be willing to personally manage recruitment, onboarding, attendance, policies, payroll inputs, employee documentation, and vendor administration.
Final hiring, compensation, disciplinary, salary-payment, and vendor-payment decisions will remain with the founders or authorized management.
