The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping the HR Department, organizational structure, recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure formation and adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's top level and mid level managers in order to help them with their human resource needs.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of subordinate staff in the department.
• Assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Oversee full-cycle of recruitment efforts
• Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and employee termination process
• Assist with payroll and benefits administration
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal Responsibilities
• Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
• Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
