Human Resources Generalist
Job Description
Assist with employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, and voluntary benefits.
Help employees navigate benefit enrollment, qualifying life events, and benefit-related questions.
Support annual open enrollment communications and activities.
Work with benefit providers and internal teams to assist with accurate benefit administration.
Assist with benefit reviews, payroll deduction audits, and compliance requirements.
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
Support recruiting efforts for positions across our dealerships, including sales, service, parts, collision, administrative, and leadership roles.
Create job postings, review applications, coordinate interviews, and communicate with candidates.
Partner with managers to understand staffing needs and assist with hiring efforts.
Support a positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
Assist with pre-employment processes including background checks, drug screens, and motor vehicle reports.
New Hire Experience & HR Operations
Help create a welcoming and organized onboarding experience for new employees.
Conduct new hire orientations and ensure completion of required employment documentation.
Assist with HRIS setup, employee records, benefit enrollment, and required acknowledgments.
Maintain accurate employee information within Paycom and other HR systems.
Assist with HR reporting, compliance activities, employee communications, and special projects.
Employee Relations Support
Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and general workplace questions.
Assist with employee relations matters, documentation, coaching conversations, and workplace concerns.
Support employee engagement efforts and initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of Human Resources experience preferred.
Experience supporting employee benefits administration, recruiting, and onboarding processes.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with employees, managers, and leadership.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative HR team.
Experience with HRIS systems; Paycom experience preferred.
Knowledge of employment practices and HR best practices.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or other HR certification preferred.

Required Qualifications
2+ years of Human Resources experience preferred, with exposure to benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, and employee support.
Experience supporting employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits.
Experience assisting with recruiting processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
Working knowledge of HR practices, employment guidelines, and workplace compliance requirements.
Experience providing employee support and assisting with workplace concerns, documentation, and employee relations matters.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information appropriately.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with employees, managers, leadership, vendors, and benefit providers.
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to use good judgment and maintain professionalism.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
