Position Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support our human resources team in a dynamic organization. This role involves a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be proactive, have strong interpersonal skills, and thrive in a collaborative environment. This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
Manage employee relations issues, providing guidance on policies, performance management, and conflict resolution.
Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and communication of options to staff.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, maintaining accurate records and preparing reports as needed.
Support payroll processing, timekeeping, and HRIS system maintenance for accurate data management.
Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and organizational performance.
Handle administrative tasks such as updating employee files, preparing HR documents, and organizing company events.
Contribute to HR projects, such as policy updates, diversity initiatives, and employee engagement surveys.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) preferred.
3-5 years of experience in HR roles, with exposure to recruitment, benefits, and compliance.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA), and HR software (e.g., ADP, BambooHR).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR information systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
