Job Description
Human Resources Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities
Work directly with and report to the Director of Human Resources on all administrative HR endeavors including benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, payroll support, assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and other HR related activities.
Starting Hourly Rate: $28.00 per hour, DOE

Payroll Administration
Review time cards to ensure timeliness and accuracy of clock ins/out, locations and approvals. Follow up with managers and employees as required.
Ensure all personnel changes including new hire, pay change, and termination data is accurate, complete, and submitted timely for each pay cycle.
Compile and verify garnishments, PTO, benefits, etc. for accuracy and completion.
Assist with employee change requests for direct deposit, tax withholding allowances, address, etc.
Respond as appropriate to employees’ inquiries in Payroll email box. Research and find resolutions problems from employees related to the processing of payroll information and make appropriate recommendations for solutions.
Benefits
Responsible for enrolling, terming, and initiating changes as directed for all group insurance programs.
Administer benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, group life, 401k, HRA, COBRA)
Process benefit documents by enrolling employees online, resolving discrepancies. Maintain online 401k employee database.
Provide necessary benefit reporting, as needed.
Manage worker’s compensation claims.
Recruiting & Onboarding
Assist in the full hiring process of employees, including job postings and pre-screening of candidates and acknowledgment of resumes.
Draft offer letters, prepare offer packet, perform background checks and schedules drug screenings for all new hires.
Conduct New Hire Orientation, introducing company benefits; policies; completion of all new hire forms. Coordinate all other new hire activities as appropriate.
General HR Tasks
Audit and maintain complete and accurate personnel files for all employees.
Assist in schedule management as needed for our client site teams.
Produce and submit reports on general HR activity as needed
Assist with payroll and adhoc HR projects.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2-3 years HR experience or administrative support experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related preferred. PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP a plus.
Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines, with demonstrated organization, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
Solid work ethic and team player with a high degree of professionalism.
Ability to maintain confidential information and documentation.
Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills. Ability to communicate with various levels of employees and management.
Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Be self-directed and motivated.
Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools.
Experience with Kronos or other HRIS and payroll systems a plus.
