Position Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning human capital strategies with organizational and business objectives. This role supports a diverse workforce across operational and corporate functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, fostering employee engagement, and driving performance in dynamic and results-driven environments.
Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Schedule: Permanent Full-Time Postion
What You Will Do
Partner with leaders to translate business objectives into people and workforce strategies
Provide strategic advice on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development
Use people data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend solutions
Support change initiatives including restructures, growth, and transformation efforts
Coach leaders on performance management, leadership effectiveness, and employee engagement
Manage complex employee relations matters, investigations, discipline, and terminations
Ensure consistent application of employment legislation, policies and procedures
What You'll Bring
5+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role
Strong understanding of employment legislation (federal or provincial)
Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and drive change
Experience supporting organizational change and strategic HR initiatives
Strong business acumen and ability to connect people decisions to business outcomes
Excellent communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills
CHRP/CHRL designation (or working toward) is an asset
Along With the Following Skills & Competencies:
Effective interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to influence decisions is required
Ability to work with senior leadership to implement effective change management processes
Demonstrated professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality; ethical
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with all levels of the organization
Comprehensive knowledge of Canada Labour Code (CLC), Human Rights, Accommodation, etc.
