Human Resource - Plant Manager
Job Description
• Oversee the Human Capital function comprehensively across all manufacturing facilities and hubs from the Sonipat base.
• * Lead the plant Human Capital teams and directly supervise to ensure seamless daily floor operations related to the function.
• * Establish virtual governance protocols across other plant locations and conduct physical site visits as needed to align teams and manage local workforce dynamics.
2. Statutory & Labor Law Compliance
• Own the end-to-end framework for labor law compliance, factory acts, and industrial safety regulations across all manufacturing units.
• * Authorize and validate monthly consolidated attendance, regularization data, and compliance reports for corporate payroll processing.
• * Mitigate statutory risks, track regulatory penalties, and insulate the business from factory floor compliance friction.
3. Third-Party Contractor & SLA Management
• Audit all third-party and contract staffing vendors regularly to mitigate legal risks like fraud, misrepresentation etc.
• * Govern off-roll vendor relationships strictly through Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to maintain clear operational boundaries.
• Enforce vendor adherence to compliance protocols, independent grievance handling, and efficient fulfilment of flexible manpower needs.
4. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
• Drive the localized talent acquisition (TA) strategy for all on-roll manufacturing staff, technical operators, and plant personnel and support corporate team for TA of senior roles.
• * Build a resilient local talent pipeline to support high-speed factory production demands continuously.
• * Implement structured floor-onboarding systems to ensure new hires achieve operational readiness with zero delay.
5. Employee Engagement, Performance & Grievance Architecture
• Implement localized Performance Management Systems (PMS) tailored specifically for manufacturing floor operations, target setting, and confirmations.
• * Deploy robust grievance handling mechanisms and use location-based worker committees to maintain industrial peace.
• * Establish targeted plant employee engagement to foster floor discipline & energy, maximize attendance compliance, and build commitment to the company's circular economy mission.
Who we are looking for:
• You are a driven individual and have outstanding communication skills – both verbal and written, in Hindi and English, allowing you to seamlessly bridge corporate expectations with factory floor realities.
• You have 6-8 years of Human Resource experience in manufacturing environment, and at least 2 years in a leadership role.
