Based at Auckland City Hospital, fixed-term, 12-month contract (Mon-Fri)
Responsible for the Kāhui o te Ihi (Mental Health) Directorate

About the team/service
Reporting to the People Partnering Lead, the Human Resources Manager supports the end-to-end operational HR advice and services, including the delivery and implementation of HR strategies, policies and processes. The primary purpose of the role is to provide operational and strategic human resource management advice to a designated Directorate that supports the organisations business plan.

(Although this role is based in Grafton, there will be some travel required to Greenlane, Pt Chev, or community sites if that is your designated area you are dealing with).
About you
Preferred experience in the Public Service, working with unions
Five plus years' knowledge in HR Management
Have a relevant tertiary qualification to the role
Previous leadership work experience
Knowledge of NZ Employment legislation
Ideally worked within the Health/Medical industry
Working at Health New Zealand
