Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations Assistant to support our HR team in managing day-to-day HR operations. This role involves handling a variety of administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth HR processes and effective employee support. The HR Operations Assistant will play a key role in maintaining HR systems, managing employee records, and assisting with HR-related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Administration:
Provide administrative support for HR functions, including managing employee records, handling HR documentation, and processing payroll information.
Data Management:
Maintain and update HR databases and systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for employee records, attendance, and benefits.
Employee Support:
Assist employees with HR-related inquiries, such as benefits, leave requests, and policy questions, providing timely and accurate responses.
Compliance:
Support compliance with company policies and legal requirements by ensuring proper documentation and adherence to HR procedures.
Reporting:
Assist in generating and preparing HR reports, including metrics on employee attendance, turnover, and other key HR data.
Onboarding Support:
Help with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing onboarding materials, scheduling orientations, and ensuring completion of required documentation.
Record Keeping:
Manage and maintain accurate employee files, including contracts, performance reviews, and other relevant documents.
Process Improvement:
Contribute to identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations.
Event Coordination:
Assist in organizing HR-related events, such as training sessions, employee engagement activities, and company-wide meetings.
Collaboration:
Work closely with HR team members and other departments to ensure effective coordination and communication on HR matters.
Learning & Development:
Participate in training and development opportunities to build knowledge in HR operations and support ongoing professional growth.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR software is a plus.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
