Summary:
Under the general supervision of the HR & General Administrative Manager, the associate assists in the planning and administration of human resources programs to include talent acquisition, recruiting, professional development, employee engagement, and legal compliance for all company locations. In addition, this role provides compliance support for the compliance officer and facility operations support for the Suwanee office. This position is also responsible for developing and maintaining positive employee relations, a high performing staff, and human resources programs which are in the best interest of the company and its employees.
Core Functions:
Recruiting and Hiring
Develops and executes recruiting strategies to identify and attract technical and niche skilled candidates.
Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring process including working with recruiting channels, developing and placing job postings, screening of resumes, scheduling and interviewing, and regular communication with candidates and hiring managers.
Ensures compliance with company standards in regards to pre-screening activity by coordinating the screening of all new hires.
Ensures consistent and proper onboarding for new hires in order to provide an exceptional candidate experience.
Supports succession planning programs and framework in alignment with the HR strategy and company goals.
Training and Performance Management
Provides ongoing consultation to supervisors and associates regarding performance management.
Evaluates programs as to their effectiveness and recommends and initiates changes as appropriate.
Plans and supports company training initiatives.
HR Information System (HRIS) Management
Supports the optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
Collaborates with HR Manager to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions.
Administers permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
Supports and works with HR manager to evaluate and research potential improvements or alternative HRIS systems if needed.
Employee Relations
Planning the process of company activities for all locations to promote engagement, wellness, and employee satisfaction.
Keeps employees informed and engaged with company updates and events.
Supports initiatives that maintain a positive work culture, open communication, and work-life balance.
Legal Compliance and Record Maintenance
Informs management of legal compliance developments.
Represents company in unemployment, EEO, and workers’ compensation hearings.
Ensures compliance with various government standards (i.e., FLSA, EEO, OSHA, FMLA, etc.).
Assists in the development of policies and advises on updates to current policies.
Maintains personnel records and files.
Compliance Support
Maintain Annual Registrations Renewal with Several Secretary of State office and Local Governments
Maintain Customer’s Safety Program Requirements
Facility Operations Support (Suwanee Office)
Maintain/Manage vendors for office supplies, repairs and maintenance
Communicating/Scheduling service vendors (Plumbing/HVAC/Electrical, Cintas, Cleaning, etc.)
Communicating/Scheduling service and requests with Building Ownership – LINK
Ordering and purchasing supplies (Office Supplies, Kitchen Supplies, Coffee related, etc.)
Ordering lunches for visitors
Any and all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education/Experience:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in human resources
1-2 years of progressive human resources experience
Preferred:
Experience in recruiting, HRIS administration, and training/development, payroll, preferred
Professional certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR
