Summary:
We are seeking dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendants to join our team in Newcastle West, NSW. This part-time contract role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our hospitality facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will contribute to the overall guest experience and uphold our high standards of service.
Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
Change bed linens and towels, and replenish guest supplies as needed.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored safely.
Assist in the laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitising to maintain health and safety standards.
Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner.
Qualifications:
No formal education required; however, a basic understanding of cleaning procedures is preferred.
Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is an advantage but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a friendly disposition.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy items as needed.
