Job Description
Position Overview The Housekeeping and Babycare Helper is responsible for ensuring the home is well-maintained, clean, and organized while also taking care of the baby's needs.
This role combines housekeeping duties with childcare responsibilities, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and nurturing environment for both the family and the baby. Key Responsibilities 1. Babycare Duties Feed the baby on time according to instructions from parents. Change diapers, bathe the baby, and maintain baby hygiene. Dress the baby and ensure clothing and blankets are clean and comfortable.
Monitor the baby's safety at all times and keep hazardous items out of reach. Engage the baby with age-appropriate activities like singing, playing, and talking. Prepare baby food or formula as per parental guidance. Keep the baby's room and belongings clean, organized, and sanitized. 2.
Housekeeping & Cleaning Dust and wipe all surfaces daily to keep the home clean. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly. Clean bathrooms, toilets, sinks, and mirrors to maintain hygiene. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen items.
Organize and maintain cupboards, shelves, and storage spaces. Wash, dry, fold, and iron clothes, including baby clothes and bed linens. Empty trash bins and dispose of waste responsibly. 3. Cooking & Kitchen Assistance Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner as per the family's requirements.
Cook healthy meals for the family and prepare special food for the baby when needed. Chop vegetables, prepare ingredients, and assist with meal planning. Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene at all times. 4. General Household Work Assist in organizing groceries and supplies. Inform the family when household items are running low. Maintain cleanliness of balconies, verandas, and outdoor spaces.
Assist during family gatherings, festivals, or special occasions. Skills & Qualities Required Experience in housekeeping and babycare. Trustworthy & Responsible - Able to handle household keys, valuables, and sensitive situations. Good Hygiene Practices - Knowledge of maintaining cleanliness for baby and home.
