Housekeepers

We are seeking four Housekeepers to join a busy accommodation property in Franz Josef Glacier on the West Coast of New Zealand. This is a permanent, full-time position with guaranteed hours in a fast-paced and rewarding hospitality environment.

Job Title: Housekeeper

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed

Pay: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning and servicing guest rooms, including making beds and replenishing amenities
Maintaining cleanliness in common areas, hallways and lounges
Handling laundry duties including washing, drying and ironing
Servicing and cleaning spa pools as directed
Disposing of waste correctly and following recycling procedures
Reporting maintenance issues and health and safety hazards to management
Working collaboratively with the housekeeping team to meet daily cleaning targets
Requirements

Minimum 6 -12 months of relevant housekeeping experience or relevant
qualification (NZQF level 1 or equivalent)
Must be able to demonstrate English language proficiency
Physically fit to handle lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Reliable, punctual and a good team player
