Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa is looking for a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our Front Office team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll play an important role in creating memorable experiences from arrival through to departure.
Whether you already have reception experience or have developed strong customer service skills in another industry, we’d love to hear from you. We value confidence, reliability, attention to detail and a genuine desire to look after people.
The Role
Working as part of our reception team, you will:
Welcome guests and provide a warm, professional first impression
Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently
Handle telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries
Assist guests with information about the hotel, spa and local area
Process bookings and payments accurately
Work closely with colleagues across all hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
What We’re Looking For
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A positive and professional approach
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Confidence using computer systems and learning new software
Reliability and the ability to work independently when required
Previous reception, hospitality, retail, customer service or administrative experience would be advantageous, but full training will be provided
Flexible Working
We understand that everyone has different commitments outside of work. We are offering between 16 and 32 hours per week and can provide a range of shift patterns. The role will include some evening and weekend working; however, we are happy to discuss individual availability and can accommodate candidates who require weekends off.

The Lake View lounge bar, conservatory and outdoor terrace offer the perfect location to relax whilst taking in the spectacular views of Derwentwater and the surrounding mountains or relaxing by the open fires.
