Job Summary
The Front Desk Clerk assists guests by registering them into the hotel and settling their account upon check out. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
Interact positively and effectively with co-workers to maintain a seamless guest experience.
Acknowledge and greet customers who approach the front desk or hotel lobby, providing clear directions as needed.
Complete required paperwork for various front desk transactions and input information in the computer system.
Process cash transactions and input information in the computer, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Process credit card transactions and manage guest accounts accordingly.
Check guests in and out of the hotel, handling any issues that may arise.
Follow departmental policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
Conduct telephone transactions and respond to guest inquiries in a timely manner.
Record and input wake-up call requests, demonstrating attention to detail.
