Job Summary:
The Hotel Interior Design Coordination Project Manager will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing all interior design aspects of hotel projects from conceptualization to completion. This includes working closely with architects, interior designers, consultants, vendors, and contractors to ensure the timely execution of design deliverables that align with brand standards, budgets, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Coordination:
Coordinate between internal stakeholders, interior designers, architects, and consultants.
Ensure design consistency with brand standards, operational requirements, and project goals.
Review and provide feedback on design presentations, sample boards, and mock-ups.
Project Management:
Develop project schedules and ensure adherence to timelines.
Track progress of design deliverables and approvals.
Coordinate procurement and delivery of FFE (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment).
Execution Oversight:
Supervise site execution to ensure design intent is implemented accurately.
Coordinate with the construction/project management team for timely issue resolution.
Conduct site inspections and quality checks of interior works.
Vendor Consultant Liaison:
Manage vendor relationships for sourcing and supply of interior materials.
Liaise with consultants (lighting, MEP, acoustics) for integrated design coordination.
Budget Cost Control:
Work with cost consultants and procurement to align design with budget constraints.
Review BOQs, cost estimates, and value engineering proposals.
Documentation Reporting:
Maintain up-to-date project documentation.
Provide regular reports on project status, design issues, and risk mitigation plans.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
8 years of experience in interior design project management, preferably in hospitality projects.
Strong knowledge of hotel design standards, materials, and FFE specifications.
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Suite) and MS Project/Excel.
Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong eye for detail and ability to interpret design intent during execution.
Ability to manage multiple hotel projects simultaneously under tight timelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with international hotel brands (Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, etc.).
PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
Exposure to sustainability and green building design practices.
