Job Description
The Salmo Hotel is looking for a motivated Manager to oversee/manage daily operations and lead ongoing improvements at our historic small-town boutique hotel.
About the Salmo Hotel:
The Salmo Hotel is a newly renovated business serving lunch, dinner, and beverages seven days a week with a loyal local crowd, international visitors and lively evening and weekend atmosphere.
What You’ll Do:
Manage daily operations of the bar/pub, restaurant, and hotel rooms
Launch a new breakfast service
Manage scheduling, hiring, and team support
Track inventory and help maintain supplier relationships
Conduct point-of-system (POS) reporting, basic bookkeeping, and budget tracking
Uphold high standards for customer service and staff performance
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations
Work closely with the current ownership
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in hospitality or food service
Organized, proactive, and reliable under pressure
Comfortable with POS systems and admin/bookkeeping tasks
Great with people – staff, customers, and suppliers alike
A strong work ethic and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
