About the Role
In this role you will undertake a range of tasks for the effective delivery of Home Maintenance and Home Modifications services and provide information and referral to residents requiring tradesman’s assistance.

You will also:
Install essential safety equipment such as handrails and handheld showers, following specifications of referring Occupational Therapists
Complete administrative tasks and maintain accurate records relating to job activities, costs and client documentation and forms
Undertake comprehensive OHS checks on clients and make recommendations to ensure their personal safety
Provide information and referral to clients about other City of Darebin home maintenance or other Council services they may be eligible for

Skills Experience
Demonstrated experience in a related field
Trade qualifications in carpentry or building (desirable)
Experience in home maintenance work and routine repairs
Experience in the safe use of power and hand held tools
Current Victorian driver’s licence (essential)
Current First Aid/ CPR Certificate
Employee Working with Children Card
Completion of Asbestos Identification Training and ‘working at heights’ training would be considered advantageous
