The Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of the ’s water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems. The role ensures uninterrupted
water services and proper functioning of plumbing fixtures in patient care areas, operation theatres, and other critical zones.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures.
Address plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, and water pressure problems.
Ensure proper functioning of washrooms, sinks, RO systems, and medical gas pipelines (if applicable).
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of plumbing systems.
Maintain records of repairs, replacements, and service requests.
Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues.
Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
Coordinate with the Shift Engineer and other technicians for integrated maintenance tasks.
Qualifications Experience:
ITI certification in Plumbing or equivalent.
6 months–4 years of experience in plumbing maintenance, preferably in a or healthcare facility.
Familiarity with -grade plumbing systems and infection control practices is an advantage.
Skills Required:
Strong plumbing and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read plumbing layouts and blueprints
Knowledge of water supply and drainage systems
Awareness of hygiene and safety protocols in healthcare settings
Good communication and teamwork
