Role Description
We're recruiting a ML Research Engineer (m/f) to strengthen our team in Europe, with the possibility of remote work.
Qualifications
• PhD or MSc in a STEM field (preference for PhD in Computer Science)
• 4+ years of experience (minimum) combining Machine Learning research and engineering
• Proven experience taking models from experimentation to production
• Hands-on experience with LLM fine-tuning, post-training techniques (SFT, RLHF), and model evaluation in production environments
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL (TypeScript is a plus)
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and CI/CD
• Experience establishing engineering standards within research-oriented teams and mentoring researchers on production best practices
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, balancing rapid iteration with high quality and safety standards
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge research and engineering teams effectively
• Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks and agentic workflows
• Knowledge of cloud-native AI platforms such as GCP/Vertex AI or AWS/SageMaker
• Experience working in startup environments (valued)
• Published research in ML, NLP, or related areas (valued)
• Fluent English communication skills
