Job Description
Transam Carriers Inc. is a growing LTL and Truckload transportation company rich in customer service and commitment to employees. Well established on both domestic and Transborder lanes, Transam Carriers is well known as a leader in providing solutions to the markets we serve.
Currently, we are looking for an experienced Short/Long Haul A-Z Company Driver to become part of Transam Carreirs' dynamic team. We’re reaching out to individuals with a drive for excellence and a strong commitment to safety. As a Truck Driver, your primary responsibility will involve efficiently transporting general freight to our customers in the East Coast of the US. The trips are of 2- or 4-day durations, covering approximately 10,000 miles per month. Cross-border is a must. Start from our truck yard in Concord, ON.
Salary: from $0.58 per mile
Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the truck to ensure its safe and efficient operation
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules

Our requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a truck driver
- CVOR / Driver’s abstract in good standing
- Criminal background search
- Clean and courteous attitude
- Cross-border capable
