Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled technical expert to join our team and contribute to the development, implementation, and management of core banking solutions.
About the Role
• Lead technical streams within projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality of work.
• Take ownership of technical deliverables, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
• Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and status reporting to stakeholders.
• Design robust and scalable technical solutions that meet business requirements.
• Develop complex programs, customizations, and extensions using Java, J2EE, and Microservices-related technologies.
• Provide technical expertise on best practices for FLEXCUBE development and implementation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to FLEXCUBE implementations and integrations.
• Enforce adherence to coding standards, tools, and processes across the technical team.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation.
• Champion the adherence to Change Control Process and ensure alignment with audit and compliance requirements.
• Drive the delivery of high-quality code through code reviews and unit testing guidance.
• Ensure proper handover of deliverables and facilitate knowledge transfer to relevant stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, tailoring your communication style to the audience.
Requirements and Qualifications
• A minimum of + years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in primary skill areas (Functional & Technical - FLEXCUBE).
• Experience in development, implementation, or support of core banking applications.
• Proficiency in software programming using Java, J2EE, and Microservices-related technologies.
• Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database (1+c; 23c is a plus).
• Exposure to software deployment and troubleshooting on Application Server software, especially Oracle WebLogic.
• Working knowledge of release management and source control tools.
• Ability to perform issue tracking for applications and follow up for resolution with stakeholders.
• Awareness of banking terminologies and concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exposure to the banking domain.
• Familiarity with software development processes and practices, DevOps tools, and testing tools.
• Knowledge of Oracle OBIEE Reports, BIP, and middleware such as Oracle Fusion SOA Suite.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) or Master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA)
