Job Opportunity:
To achieve success in this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance AWS infrastructure that supports current and future platform needs.
You will also be required to maintain and improve the security posture of Loopios infrastructure to protect customer data.
Collaboration with InfoSec, Architect, and Engineering teams is essential to implement best practices on the AWS platform.
A key aspect of this position is automating manual tasks to free up time for strategic initiatives.
Platform and technology decisions, including cost savings strategies and improved processes, are crucial areas where your input will be valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Mentorship and coaching team members providing technical guidance and knowledge-sharing opportunities are vital to our team's growth.
Supporting Incident Response and participating in on-call rotations are essential to ensuring business continuity.
Improving incident response through simulated failure scenarios and disaster recovery processes will help us better prepare for any situation.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5+ years of experience working in a high-growth agile software development environment is necessary for this role.
Familiarity with automation and reducing toil will be beneficial in optimizing our processes.
Leadership skills, combined with the ability to operate independently and collaborate across teams, are crucial for success in this position.
Experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Route 53, VPCs) and Azure is highly desirable.
A solid understanding of Immutable Infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) is essential.
Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog) will help us stay ahead of potential issues.
Solid understanding of best practices for delivery of cloud-based managed applications at a global scale is critical.
Experience with containerization technology (Docker, ECS, Fargate) will enable us to efficiently manage our infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience building and supporting high-performance/high-availability platforms with a microservices architecture will be beneficial.
Knowledge of Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines) and centralized configuration management tools (Chef and Ansible) will enhance our capabilities.
