£14.00 p/h or £15.60 p/h (holiday included in hoursly rate)

Staffing Match is proud to present an excellent opportunity available for HGV and 7.5t Drivers down in Huntingdon for one of our National Supplying company of Bedroom Furniture. They are a leading supplier of bedroom furniture across UK and currently have unlimited openings for Drivers in Huntingdon. The job involves deliveries of bedroom furniture such as mattresses, bed frames, night stands, etc. to customers around Huntingdon.

The role involves going out on the road in a 2-man crew doing deliveries and offering exquisite customer service, ensuring the proper representation of the companies name.

Your key responsibilities as a HGV / 7.5T Delivery Driver will include:

Safely completing deliveries in a 2-man crew.

Obliging to UK Road Law and Regulations, as well as Working Time Regulations.

Making sure Daily vehicle check is complete before going on the road.

Offer Exquisite Customer Service.

Ensure merchandise is secure in the lorry.

Ensure overshoes are worn in customers' homes and gloves used during the delivery.

Deliver all products to the customers room of choice.

Be able to work in a team with the porter.

Leave customer homes tidy, recycling any packaging that has been removed.About the HGV / 7.5T Driver within you:

Must hold a UK licence with category of C1 or above!

Must hold a valid CPC and Digital tacho card!

Previous experience in driving 7.5t or above vehicles within UK!

Able to complete Heavy Lifting deliveries!

Friendly attitude towards customers, as you would like to be treated by a delivery crew!

Excellent wrok ethic!
