The Park is 50 acres of natural beauty located at 1964 St. Mary's Road, Winnipeg. The volunteer run and non-profit Henteleff Park Foundation is dedicated to caring for the Park through restoration and conservation of its lands, plants, and wildlife; partnership with the community; education about its existing ecology and many layered human and ecological history. Volunteer Opportunity Details Volunteer Opportunity ID: 6307 Description of Duties:
Are you a high school student looking for volunteer credits and love being outside in nature? Volunteers are the heartbeat of Henteleff Park, and our Front Entrance Crew are looking for volunteers. Accrue hours for high school credit and gain work experience. This group meets twice a week: Monday evening 18:00 to 20:00 and Wednesday mornings from 09:00 - 11:00 to care for the front entrance area of the park. Join us on the days that work for your schedule. The group works together to remove invasive weeds, tend to flower gardens, and sweep concrete walkway. Instruction and supervision provided.
