Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team here at Dynamic Equipment Group. The ideal candidate will have expertise in equipment repair and maintenance, possess mechanical knowledge, and be proficient in using hand tools to diagnose and repair heavy machinery.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders
- Diagnose mechanical issues and conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems
- Fabricate parts when necessary to ensure equipment functionality
- Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts for replacement
- Operate heavy equipment for testing purposes after repairs
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities

Skills
- Proficiency in equipment repair and maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair heavy machinery
- Experience with OEM guidelines for equipment repair
- Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery and industrial equipment
- Ability to operate forklifts for moving heavy parts
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
